We are seeking a bookkeeper
RPM Signs and Lighting is growing and seeking a bookkeeper to oversee all accounting and financial tasks, from maintaining journals and charts of accounts to submitting payroll and managing periodic reconciliations, internal audits, reporting, and recordkeeping!

We have been providing comprehensive sign solutions, including design, manufacturing, installation, and service to the Mid-Atlantic Region, operating out of The City of Harrisburg for over 20 years! The position is a direct report to the owner and is a Monday-Friday position with ability to work between 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage, record, and update day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in a timely fashion.
- Monitor and maintain company income revenue, track expenditures, and present any concerns to the owner as needed.
- Manage, record, and pay vendor invoices with high accuracy.
- Process payroll. Enter employee time and transmit to payroll processor by required deadline while checking payroll for accuracy and obtaining necessary approvals.
- File PA state sales tax returns and payments monthly. File local wage tax returns and charges quarterly. Ensure transactions are accurate and regulatory deadlines are met.
- Banking and Bank Account Reconciliations. Manage credit card accounts and reconciliation—ability to troubleshoot any concerns and ask questions as needed.
- Ability to follow up with owner for approvals and questions requiring immediate attention.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Understanding of bookkeeping practices and ability to operate QuickBooks Enterprise regularly and generate reports as needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines that may include communicating and following up with owner
- Post revenues to accounts receivables and ask questions as needed
- Ability to plan, organize and complete work mostly independently.
- Post business loan payments
- Process customer Credit cards with accuracy
schedule and salary:
- $20-25/ per hour (commensurate with experience)
